The Jimmy Ryce Center was born out of tragedy and for over 20 years has worked tirelessly to change laws and make the world a safer place for your children. Created by Don and Claudine Ryce following the 1995 abduction and murder of their 9-year-old son, Jimmy, the family’s mission was to supply a bloodhound to every law enforcement agency in the United States.
Did You Know…..
When Claudine died in 2009, more than 400 dogs had been placed. Since her passing, Don Ryce and his other son, Ted, have given away another 200 bloodhounds from donations.
Each bloodhound costs the Jimmy Ryce Center $1000.
100% of every donation goes to the purchase of bloodhounds. NOTE: A small amount of money is used to maintain our website.
Only now we are quickly running out of money as the number of requests from law enforcement agencies increase. As of today, there is only enough money left for two more dogs. If we are to continue this vital legacy we desperately need your donations. If we don’t receive additional donations, the organization is in peril.
Please don’t let this happen!
There are many ways you can donate through our website.
